Multi-platinum award-winner comes to Beaulieu
Saturday 31st July 2010
Gates open at 6.00pm, concert starts at 7.30pm
Set in the heart of the New Forest, join opera sensation Russell Watson in the beautiful parkland setting of Beaulieu, ancestral home of the Montagu family. One of a series of UK-wide concerts to support the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, the event promises a fantastic summer’s evening of music and entertainment.
The multi-platinum award-winning singer will be
joined by the gifted Classical Brit nominee Camilla Kerslake and the versatile Emer McParland, who has done extensive movie sound track recordings, including Sleepy Hollow and The Gangs of New York. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Orchestra D'Amici and the evening will be hosted by actor, writer and former Dr Who, Colin Baker.
“It’s an absolute delight just to be back on the stage, so the fact that I’m singing at this wonderful venue and that I'm doing it for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign makes it even more special. I hope that music lovers from all across the area will come and enjoy a glorious summer’s evening of musical entertainment.”
